Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy of micropixels.software, the website of micropixels and its apps. It covers this website only. Each app has its own policy, and Vetero's is on its own page.
Last updated 14 October 2026.
What this website collects
Nothing, unless you send something. The site sets no cookies, has no analytics, no advertising and no trackers, and, apart from the check on the support form, the newsletter sign-up and the Winyl beta sign-up described below, it loads nothing from other companies' servers. The only thing it keeps in your browser is a note that you closed the announcement bar, which never leaves your device.
The newsletter
If you sign up, we keep your email address, the page you signed up on and the date. We use the address to tell you about new apps and updates from micropixels, and for nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share it. To be removed, write to support@micropixels.software from that address and it is deleted.
The Winyl beta
If you join the beta on the Winyl page, we keep your email address, the page you joined on and the date, apart from the newsletter. We use the address only to send you a TestFlight invite for Winyl, and keep it until the beta ends or you ask us to delete it. To invite you, we add your address to Apple's TestFlight, and Apple sends the invite. To be removed, write to support@micropixels.software from that address. Like the newsletter sign-up, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded only once you start using it.
The support form
If you send a message, we receive your email address, your message and any files you attach. They go into micropixels' support tracker and are used to answer you and to fix the problem you describe. They are kept for as long as that takes and as long afterwards as they help to improve the apps. To have a request deleted, write to support@micropixels.software.
Protection against abuse
To stop the forms being flooded, a scrambled version of your IP address is counted for up to two days. It cannot be turned back into your address and it is not linked to anything you send.
The support form, the newsletter sign-up and the Winyl beta sign-up use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are not a bot. It sends Cloudflare technical information about your browser and connection, which Cloudflare handles under its own privacy policy: on the support page as soon as it opens, and on the pages with the newsletter or the Winyl beta sign-up only once you start using it.
Who handles the data
The website and the sign-ups above are run by service providers who host and store them on our behalf, some of them outside the EU, under the safeguards the law requires. Addresses on the Winyl beta list are also given to Apple to send TestFlight invites, under Apple's own privacy policy. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
Links to other sites
The site links to the App Store, Gumroad and other sites. When you follow a link, that site's own policy applies, not this one.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and ask us to stop using it, at any time. Write to support@micropixels.software.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
